Who we are
For nearly two years, I was trying to find stability in every part of my life—from my relationship to my career.
No matter what I did or how many interviews I went on, it felt like hiring managers couldn’t see what I was capable of. At the same time, my relationship with the man I loved was falling apart. I kept being told I had “too many feelings” and “too many ideas.”
I made one of the hardest decisions of my life and walked away from the boyfriend I loved.
When we broke up, I was told to stay quiet about what happened.
But this is my life, and I won’t silence my story.
I knew walking away could mean losing everything—coming dangerously close to homelessness. Thankfully, my best friend’s dad took me in and gave me a place to heal, be creative, and find my way through the trenches.
I spent months healing—walking through a very dark chapter and trying to rebuild myself from the ground up.
During that time, I remember going into stores and feeling completely disconnected. Whether it was beauty products, coffee, or even the men’s grooming section—nothing felt real or relatable to what I was going through.
Not that I have a beard (LOL), but I realized I couldn’t be the only one feeling this way—especially when social media makes it seem like everything is perfect. Beauty product labels all start to look the same—“Exfoliation,” “Soft Skin,” “Glow.” I know I can’t be the only one tired of reading the same thing over and over again.
Sometimes, when you’re in the trenches, it’s not about perfection—it’s about feeling heard, seen, understood, and knowing your feelings are valid… and finding moments to laugh again.
The reality is, life is chaotic for a lot of people right now. And in the middle of that, it’s important to be reminded that you matter, that you are loved, and that you were created for a purpose—even if the path to that purpose feels like walking through the gates of hell to get there.
I took the pain—from corporate setbacks to personal heartbreak—and transformed it into a giftable experience and beauty brand for men and women who know what it’s like to go through the trenches and come out stronger.
This isn’t just about breakups—it’s about changing how the beauty industry shows up for people. Most days, the industry expects us to feel like a 20… even on the days we feel like a -20 and can barely get out of bed.
With my life feeling like a dark fantasy campaign—and having dated a Dungeon Master—I turned that experience into a coffee and beauty brand people could relate to.
I took my real-life dark fantasy campaign and turned it into products like the Critical Hit Box—a gift set featuring sugar scrubs like Critical Hit, Dungeon Master, and Hellfire. During my breakup, my friends and I leaned on tabletop and RPG games to get through each day, and that world became part of the inspiration behind what I created.
These products are inspired by my own experiences and are not affiliated with, sponsored by, or produced by Blizzard Entertainment or Wizards of the Coast. This campaign is rooted entirely in real-life events—not borrowed from any existing game or storyline.
Our beard balms, beard oils, and sugar scrubs are handmade in small batches. While we’re able to produce efficiently, please allow 3–8 days for processing and shipping.
Our coffee is proudly distributed by KeithCoffee in New York. At launch, we are offering 2 oz bags, with plans to introduce larger sizes soon.
At this time, we are shipping within the United States only, with plans to expand in the future. Our products are currently available exclusively through our website.
Thank you for being part of the reset.
P.S. Some of our images are created using AI. As a small, hands-on brand focused on making our products, packaging, and experience ourselves, this allows us to bring our vision to life while continuing to grow.
